How to Find DoFollow Blogs to Increase Your Page Rank

People think blog comments alone will get their rankings up on search results, but unfortunately that’s not true, blogs with DoFollow commens add up to your search rankings and page rank from Google.

How to Find
DoFollow Blogs?

Here is a easy way to do that. But before we go ahead please make sure you are not misusing the method and start spamming the blogs, that way Google will still consider your links as spams and these comments will not do you any good.

From my own experience its really a rough path out there to find out a do-follow blog, reason is simple the number of do-follow blogs are far too less when compared to no-follow and by default wordpress blogs now add a no-follow tag to the comments link and most webmaster don’t mind changing them to do-follow. So its a waste of time to look for a do-follow blog that is build up on wordpress.

Only alternative that is available right now to find dofollow blogs is find blogs that run on Blog Engine, a product from microsoft, Blog Engine do not use no-follow tag in their comment area by default and there are less number of webmaster who take time to change that to no-follow. So if you find a blog from Blog Engine there is a high chance that you might end up finding more blogs that pass their link juice to you.

Technique 1 to Find DoFollow Blogs

Here is an easy way to find Blog Engine blogs. Just do a search in Google with this exact words in quotes "notify me when new comments are added"

This will bring you up almost all the blog engine blog pages that is listed in Google so far.

Technique 2 to Find DoFollow Blogs

If you want to find specific blogs that is related to your niche then you can add your keyword at the end and do a search like this
"notify me when new comments are added" YOUR KEYWORD HERE

You can use any keyword you need and do a search that will bring up the pages that has your keyword in it. This way you can build links on blogs that are more relevant to your niche which will have more authority from Google point of view.

To find whether the blog uses do-follow attribute in their comment area make sure to use this plugin from firefox NoDofollow.

Just check the previously made comment links, if the links appear in blue or light violet whatever you call it then it means its a do-follow blog and if the links appear in red color then it means its a no-follow blog.

Also make sure whether the blog is active, whether the blog approves comments from users and whether you are posting your comments on new posts not on post that is more than six months old.

Kas me sellist Eestit tahtsimegi?

Loomulikult ilma neil klikkimata. Bännerid töötasid täiesti hästi, kuid mitte läbi klikkide. Ka mina võin üles lugeda sadu reklaamijaid, kelle firmad, tooted ja brändid on mulle pähe kulunud Delfi, Postimehe, meie enda saitide lehtedelt ja bänneritelt.

139 comScore kampaaniaefektiivsuse uuringust selgus, et ka ilma klikkideta suurenes 1-4 nädala jooksul bännerite nägemisest reklaamija reach 45-65%. Reklaami kaubamärkide ja brändide osas teostati otsinguid 38-52% rohkem.

Reaalelulises müügis selgus kõige paremini töötavat otsireklaami ja bännerite koosmõju, mis tõusis neid 2 meetodit koos kasutades kuni 119%. Võrreldes otsireklaami ja bännereid leiti, et kuna bännerid jõuavad niivõrd palju suurema sihtrühmani, siis andis suurima absoluutse tulemuse müügi tõusus just bännerreklaami kasutamine. Siiski võib otsireklaami lisamine anda väikese lisasünergia.

Bännerreklaami kampaaniaid kaubanduse sektoris uurides selgus, et 82% bännerkampaaniate puhul tõusis reaalne offline müük. Keskmine müügi tõus oli 22%. Ilma klikkideta.

Me tahame kasutajaid mõjutada. Me tahame suurendada müüki. Me tahame, et inimesed tuleks meie poodi või telliks meie teenuseid.

Tips to get traffic from FB using Facebook EdgeRank Algorithm

Every blogger wants tons of traffic for their blog and ‘Facebook’ is a great source to get thousands of visitors to your blog.

Tradition methods
to get traffic from Facebook

I am not going to tell you the traditional methods to get traffic from Facebook e.g.

  • Create Fan page and share your link there.
  • Join Different Groups and share your links.
  • Share links on your wall.

Tips to
Increase Traffic From Facebook

I’ll share Secret Tips

I’ll tell one secret that will help you to get maximum traffic to your blog using above methods or in other words I’ll tell you how to optimize above methods to get maximum benefit from it.

How does Facebook work from user point of view?

All of you know that whenever you share a link into any Group or Facebook Fan page then this link appears on the wall of members who have joined the same group or liked your FB Fan page.

If you have closely observed your News Feed (messages on your wall e.g. A has share an images, B has changes his profile etc.) then you have noticed that you are not getting updates from all your friends. You are getting updates only from few specific friends or groups.

How Facebook decides which updates to show you and which not?

Here comes the concept of EdgeRank

EdgeRank is Facebook’s algorithm that is used by Facebook to determine what should appear in their users’ news feeds (or Wall).

Facebook use EdgeRank to make following decisions:

  1. Important Connection- Which connection (Friends, Group, page etc.) is most important for you (their content appear more frequently).
  2. Content Preference- Which type of content you prefer more than others

Why you should know about EdgeRank?

As I have explained above that Google shows the updates according to your connection value and content preference so it might be possible that you are sharing a link to a group which is having 4000 members in a hope that all member will see your link and visit your blog; but in reality it is not happening like this. Your link is appearing only to few people who are having strong connection with you.

Now by knowing about EdgeRank algorithm you can improve your connections and bonding with your friends and fellow bloggers so that more and more people see your link on their wall and you will get more and more visitors.

What is Edge in respect of Facebook?

‘Everything’ in the world of Facebook in an ‘Edge’ e.g. status message, likes, sharing, uploaded photo or any activity that you do on facebook, is an ‘Edge’ and ‘EdgeRank’ algorithm help to facebook to decide the order of these ‘Edge’ on your wall.

Let’s discuss EdgeRank Algorithm Factors

As all you knows that Google has its search algorithm and backlink, PR, Social Signal are factors that decide your ranking in SERP similarly ‘EdgeRank Algorithm’ have its own factors that affects your ‘Edge’ ranking. These factors are

  1. 1.       Affinity
  2. 2.       Weight
  3. 3.       Time Decay

Affinity- Affinity is a measurement of, ‘how frequently you are interacting with one of your friend’. If you interacting very frequently then chances are higher that your link (Edge) will appear on top in your friend’s news feed.

Weight- It defines the preference of content type that need to be appear in ones news feed. For example if you like photos more (means you clicked like button on photos, you share photos etc.) then chances of appearing a photo updates from your friend in your feed are high than other object.

Most of the people on Facebook like ‘photos’ that’s photos have highest weight in most member’s profile.

Its been suggested by different internet marketer’s as well that if you add a tempting photo with your link then chances are high to get clicked on your link.

Time Decay- This is simple, recent posts/links/videos have high probability to be appear in news feed then older one.

What you can do to improve EdgeRank?

Now you know the above factor, you know the basic of ‘EdgeRank Algorithm’ so now what you can do so that more and more people will get your shared link/photos in their news feed.

Interact more – Interact more and more with your fans and friends to improve affinity between you and your follower.

Participate in Discussion Threads- Participate in discussion threads (Discussion on your Status, discussion on your shared photos etc.).

Ask Your Friends and fans to like/Share your link.

Try to understand what your Friends like – Try to find out what your friends like more, Photos, Videos or Link and then share your content in the same content format to get maximum out of it.

I have done my bit of piece and now its your turn. If you think my article is really informative then share it with your friends and fellow bloggers so that they can also get advantage from it.

Kuidas võtta
EdgeRankist viimast?

See on sinu võimalus panna Facebook enda jaoks tööle, mitte vastupidi.

5 Bad SEO Practices That can Harm Your SEO Efforts

Search Engine Optimization is the only way to improve your visibility in various popular search engines. Google is the leader in this section and has very strict norms and regulations as to how the pages should be made and organized so that they are friendly to the bots that are sent by Google.

As told SEO is an art rather than a technique. It requires a lot of skill and practice from your side in order to perfect this art. As we say too many cooks spoil the broth, the same applies here. Overdoing SEO can cause a tremendous harm to your website. Here are some of the bad practices that are done by the bloggers and administrators in order to reach to the top results of the search engines.

1. Keywords are the main part of any post.

You should highlight them with different font and colour. They must be placed adequately across the different parts of the page. Using malicious JavaScript and CSS tweaks that embed the hidden keywords on page is a bad practice and must be avoided then and there. These scripts tend to increase the density of the keywords artificially. Stuffing keywords is another bad practice that should be avoided.

2. Google Page Rank (PR) Algorithm

is the major driving factor that powers all the search results today. Thus all the bloggers and site administrators make efforts and adopt techniques so that their PR improves. Paid posts and link exchanges are some of the techniques that might help you in improve the rank initially but then it will stagnate or fell down later on. Many admins unnecessarily submit their web sites to the search engines which is also a bad practice.

3. Links are the important factor

that improves the PageRank of your website. Thus placing the links of some third party websites is usually not recommended because they will be marked as link farms by the search engines. If you really want to have some quality backlinks then you can consider submitting your website to open directories. Link Exchange and placing all the links that point to your homepage is another bad practice that you shouldn’t indulge in. All your links should point to the relevant parts of your website.

4. Cloaking is another malpractice

that is used by spammer and search engine optimizers to inflate their rankings in the search results. This black hat SEO technique fools the search engine by presenting different faces of the same website to the user based on the IP Address and HTTP requests. It is difficult to detect cloaking but when it is detected the engines simply ignore your website.

5. Spell check is another checkpoint that you must follow.

It was a technique that was used by spammers a few years ago where they used misspelled words in order to get the high rankings in the search results. But today the search engines have become more intelligent and thus mark those sites that as spam and put them in their black lists. They will simply ignore your website.
